Medievale, molto carina, con una cattedrale imponente ed un castello nel quale è conservata nientemeno che la Magna Carta. Al Castello abbiamo dedicato la gran parte della giornata, ed abbiamo apprezzato ogni momento.
Molto bella la passeggiata sulle mura, da cui guardare la città ed i suoi tetti.
Purtroppo devo ammettere di non essere altrettanto entusiasta della cittadina una volta che il sole tramonta o, più correttamente, una volta che i negozi abbassano le saracinesche: a quel punto compaiono decine di "buskers", simil-senzatetto che chiedono l'elemosina o semplicemente ciondolano ubriachi fino alla punta dei capelli.
Accidenti, ma che problemi hanno gli inglesi con l'alcool?

Medieval, very nice, has an impressive cathedral and a castle in which Magna Carta can be seen. To the castle we have dedicated the most of our day, appreciating every moment.
Really nice the walk on the walls, from where you can observe the town and its rooftops.
Unfortunately I must admit I'm not so enthusiastic once the sun goes down, or better, once shop close: then dozens of buskers appear to ask for money or simply to stumble completely drunk.
By gosh, what's the matter between English and alcohol?
